It’s Veterans Day, I’m off work, and honestly, I’ve been dealing with two weeks of awful, nonstop pain. I had been seeing another dentist, but that office made me feel like just another number, not a person. So this morning, I decided to try again and look for a new provider. Most places were closed for the holiday, but luckily, I came across Dr. Mikhail on my insurance list, close to home and open today! I called, and to my surprise, he actually answered the phone himself. He was so kind and genuinely wanted to hear what was going on. I explained I wasn’t happy with my previous dentist, and he said he could squeeze me in for a 9 a.m. appointment. He even told me he’d get me added into the system so all I had to do was sign and complete my forms when I arrived. When I got to Upland Modern Dentistry, I immediately noticed how modern and clean everything looked, they have the latest technology, and the whole team was amazing. Everyone was so friendly and kept checking in to make sure I was comfortable and okay. After all the X-rays and scans, Dr. Mikhail came in and took the time to explain everything to me, what was wrong, what needed to be done, and why. He offered to start the treatment right then and there and schedule the follow-up for next week. The billing staff was also great , they went over my insurance coverage and out-of-pocket costs clearly, so there were no surprises. I can’t thank Dr. Mikhail and his team enough for helping me out today. They truly went above and beyond. I’m so glad I found them, I’m transferring my family over and will be recommending Upland Modern Dentistry to everyone I know!

I’m so impressed with this dental office. From the initial visit to my cleaning, it’s been great. Its name “Modern” is correct. I’ve never had a more thorough dental evaluation. Dr. Andrew is kind and professional. I never felt rushed. I knew I needed the crowns that he recommended. I was shown through detailed digital photos and x-rays. Everything is right in front of you. You can see for yourself what is really going on. My blood pressure was taken as well. Their system interfaces with Kaiser looking at this as a whole health approach. Manny greeted me, Robert took my x-rays and individual photos of my teeth. Both of them made sure I was comfortable. Ezzie went over the details and insurance. She was professional and knowledgeable. Today was my cleaning. Again I was greeted with kindness and professionalism. Kenneth started everything off and was great, again personable and making sure I was comfortable. My hygienist Marlene was very skilled. She was gentle but thorough. All questions answered. This is my new dentist! My new dental team. Thank you Dr. Mikhail. 😊 I have worked in the profession of orthodontics for 25 years here in Upland. I know what excellent patient care is all about.
